How we make a key without an original
1. We confirm ownership. We ask for photo ID and proof of ownership, such as the registration or insurance document, before we make a key.
2. We decode the lock. With no key to copy, we work from the lock itself to cut a new key.
3. We program and test. A chip or smart key is paired to the bike, and every key is tested in the ignition before we finish.
